To start things off, can you introduce yourself to the readers?

Hi! I'm April Love. I started out as a published alternative model with the Twisted Angels and now I'm an actress in several independent films as well.

Can you tell anything about the movie Finding Purpose: The Road to Redemption?

Finding Purpose : The Road to Redemption is the sequel to Finding Purpose. It is another great film from Polestar Studios. They aren't just a great bunch of talented people, they are like a family to me. I miss them between projects. My daughter Allison has a small role as a nurse. Be sure to look for her!

What is the best thing about working in horror?

So far my favorite thing about horror is pretending to die covered in fake blood. I cannot wait to do more horror movies. I'm looking into some right now but it's going to be a lot of traveling. We'll have to wait and see what I can get myself into. Lol

Can you say anything about your movie you have be in?

I've been in a few movies now and I really enjoy the entire process and the experience of meeting wonderful people and learning new things.

Why do you work in the film industry?

I suffer from serious health issues and being in a movie was something I wanted to accomplish in life. I never imagined that I would love it so much. I want to keep going.

What are some of your upcoming projects?

Polestar Studios has contacted me about doing projects with them in the near future. I'm also one of the lead actresses in the upcoming Glasshouse. I'm doing a short film called Wicked Jack. I have an audition due tomorrow for another horror project. If I can figure a way to get to Texas in April, I would like to participate in Cannibal Call Girls from Hell. And, of course, more........

What was the project you learned the most from?

I would have to say that the project that I have learned the most from was Finding Purpose. John Reign and I had so many conversations behind the scenes. This film was so important to him and to all the people working with him. A lot of heart, sweat and tears went into the project.

What is the last film you saw? What did you think of it?

The last film I watched was Zombieland: Double Tap. I loved it.

What is your favorite horror movie and why?

There are so, so many!! You have no idea! I love The Collector, The Saw franchise, Terrifier, The Strangers: Prey at Night... but I'm going to have to say that my answer is The Lost Boys. There was nothing I wanted more as a teenager than that movie poster. My dog's name is Nanook. Try not to judge me too hard. Lol

How do you prepare for a movie?

When I prepare for a movie the first thing I do is ask a lot of questions about how their vision of the character is and I do my best to convey what they have in mind. That is the job after all. Then I memorize my lines and emphasize on emotionally building and becoming the character. There's more to it but I'm trying to keep my answer short.

If you could work with any actors or actresses who would they be and why?

Betty White because she's Betty White!!

Damien Maffei because who doesn't want to be killed by a guy who can act with a sack on his head and he has a great sense of humor.

Robert Mukes, Dan Yeager, R.A. Mihailoff, Maria Olsen, and others that are on my friends list and/or people I admire.

What is your personal definition of horror?

My personal definition of horror is anything that puts you on the edge of the seat, gets your blood pumping, your heart racing, makes you want to cover your eyes and scares the crap out of you.

Who is your current inspiration?

Keanu Reeves is a very inspiring actor. He endured many tragedies in his life, he gives freely to help people and he is very talented.

Favorite country or place?

My favorite place is home with my family. My second favorite place is anywhere with my friends.

Did you know anything about Sweden?

Sweden sounds like a wonderful place to live. From what I've read, it's very beautiful and clean. Swedish is the official language of the Kingdom of Sweden with a population of 9.5 million people and has a low unemployment rate. It's quite fantastic. I would love to visit and learn more! I even sound like a tourist already.

Anything else you want to mention?

The greatest gift you can give is Love. It's more than a feeling. It's doing for others without looking for something in return. We only get one life. Love as much as you can.
