To start things off, can you introduce yourself to the readers?

My name is Heljarmadr and I'm a musician.

Do you like horror?

I do, especially older classics like "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", "Day of the Dead", "The Shining" and so on.

If you get a chance to do music for a horror movie have you do that?

Well you hooked me up for this interiew through Emir Skalonja as he's using music from my band Grá in his upcoming film "The Holland Road Massacre" so the answer is yes.

How did you get your start in music?

I started my first band back in 1995, being a young guy with passion.

What about future projects?

I'm quite busy with my bands Dark Funeral and Grá, new music is being created as we speak.

How do you prepare for a show?

Practice, practice, practice!

What advice would you give to someone wanting to try a career in music?

Don't. Play music for passion. If opportunities come, embrace them.

I'm in Dark Funeral and Grá.

Your favorite song/band are?

The Doors, their debut album being my absolute favourite.

Favorite country or place?

Wherever I can explore my art and feel good on a personal level, I'm good. I travel a lot and the world is quite small after all.

What is the best thing with your music?

That it is 100% subjective.

What is the last horror film you saw? What did you think of it?

I think it was the first "Alien" on my laptop in a hotel room in Romania. I love that film and actually the following films aren't that bad either.

What is the last consert you saw? What did you think of it?

I saw Svederna and Mist of Misery in Gothenburg as they were the opening bands for Grá. They both did a good job I think.
